This page describes billing on the hosted service. A self-hosted installation is licensed instead; see Licensing.

What you pay for

You pay a share of what ACOG measurably saves you, and nothing else: no seats, no per-token markup, no minimum. A request that saves nothing costs nothing extra. The rate is on the pricing page. How savings are measured is described in How savings are measured.

Your provider bills you directly for the tokens you use, as before. ACOG never resells provider capacity.

Activating savings

A new organization starts in pass-through mode: requests work and are forwarded unchanged at full price, nothing is saved and nothing is billed. Add a payment method under Admin → Billing and savings switch on.

Invoices

  • An invoice is issued for each completed calendar month, for that month’s measured savings.
  • Payment is due 30 days after the invoice is issued.
  • Your default payment method is charged; if it cannot be charged, backup methods are tried in the order shown.
  • Account credit is applied to invoices before anything is charged. A partly used credit carries its remainder to the next invoice.

If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, your organization moves to pass-through until the balance is paid. Adding a new card does not by itself clear an overdue balance.

The Billing page

Admin → Billing shows, for users with the View invoices and billing status permission:

StatusCost savings active or Pass-through
Saved this monthUpdated live
Accrued feeThis month’s share so far, billed at month end
Amount dueThe open invoice, its due date and whether it is overdue
Account credit, past dueWhere applicable
Payment methodsCard or US bank account (ACH). Card and bank details go directly to the payment processor; ACOG never sees or stores them. Bank account verification by micro-deposits takes one to two business days.
InvoicesEach month’s savings, fee, total, due date and status, with Pay for an open invoice

Your organization’s name, billing contact and address printed on invoices are on Admin → Organization.
